In a news conference, the rotating E-U President Joseph Muscat said the bloc We wants a fair deal for the U-K but that fair deal has to be inferior to its membership. He added the other 27 members of the E-U will first present their own terms once the U-K announces its exit which is to take place before the end of March. Muscat went on to say after the agreement with the members, negotiations with London will start over Brexit’s terms. Britain voted to leave the EU in a referendum in June last year but has yet to start formal negotiations with the other 27 countries on the terms of its departure and its future relationship.
